Thomas Allen well listed Boston / Worcester Massachusetts oil on panel depicting a cow along with chickens.
Signed lower left and titled Jersey Cow and on the reverse and also well documented twice with his 12 Commonwealth Ave. Boston Gallery address.
There is also an old jelly label on the back with the name (Jacob Yonker Princeton) who was possibly an early owner and neighbor of Allen.
Allen did have a summer residence in that town which is a suburb of Worcester where he also had a residence.
