Great small size two gallon Charlestown churn with wonderful grape clusters and leaves.

Very good condition with three very minor chips along the top inside edge and a few minor flea bites along the right side bottom just below a stone pop.

Dimensions: Measures 13 1/2" tall X 6 7/8" across the top and 7 7/8" across the bottom.

As found early New England stoneware pot attributed to Jonathan Fenton with some cracks and lines but is very solid and stable.The outside especially the bottom looks much worse than it really is as can be seen in the picture of the inside.

Probably a Grocers jug although unmarked with size it appears to be a 1 Gallon. Unsure if the name Purity was something that was being sold or just the dogs name? Very good condition with some staining on one side and a stone pop on the other side, neither is an issue.
