19th Century Painted Pennsylvania Toll House Clock Shelf W DrawersPennsylvania toll house painted clock shelf with two drawers. Top drawer was used for cash receipts and lower for tickets and toll checks. Wonderful dry painted surface with a mauve color over the original blue/green surface.
Top drawer is square nailed and lower drawer is dovetailed. This is the way it was made as the paint history is the same.
Dimensions: Measures 49 3/4" tall X 19" wide X 7" deep. The top section measures 25 3/4" above the drawers.

Painted Nineteenth Century Graduated Drawer Step-Back Apothecary Cupboard Dry red painted pine step back apothecary cupboard consisting of 42 paint decorated graduated drawers with three shelves above,one of which was added at a later date. Drawers are all square nail construction. Back consists of three wide pine boards.
Five drawer bottoms are old replacements and one shelf was added early on. New Hampshire or Maine origin and was featured in a 1969 Magazine Antiques ad from Ezra Peters Antiques MT.Vernon, Maine. (Ex Hayward Collection)
Dimensions: 77" tall X 54" wide X 13" lower case section and 7" upper section.

Came from the Estay Organ Company Brattleboro, Vermont which was founded in 1846.

Painted interior with two shelves.
